GRAM founder A. Jermaine Mobley is a Gen-X creative who grew up heavily influenced by 80s and 90s HipHop culture and its fashion. Jermaine’s taste derives from the track suits of Run DMC and Eric B & Rakim, to the preppy rugby Polo styles of Grand Puba and Wu Tang, to the workwear of Naughty By Nature. As a Howard University graduate, Jermaine fit in perfectly at one of the fashion “Meccas” of the late 90s.

In the early to mid 2000s Jermaine had an active career in the music business as a producer/songwriter. Later, as the recording artist Jermaine Hardsoul, he released the song “GR.A.M.” which stands for GRown Ass Man. This song spawned the concept of a mature brand that Jermaine and like-minded supporters can continue to grow with over time. GRAM is an all-encompassing brand that includes music, podcast, clothing and accessories celebrating positive masculinity at any age.
